Wesley Is Three Weeks Old

Here's Wes sleeping after chugging 4 ounces of formula, 3 hours after doing the same. That seems to be his schedule now. He was awake for a long time before this latest meal, and he was able to lie on his back and hit some hanging toys with his hand - intentionally or otherwise. Sometimes, I think, you have to do things by accident several times before you can do them on purpose. He can definitely focus his eyes on things, watch them move, study them. Then if he hits them with his hands, that provides something else to look at, whether or not intended. Wes is now three weeks and has heard a lot of stories. Most of his books are very short, but he's also up to Chapter 6 of Winnie the Pooh. Ralph and Suzzanne, also known as Gram and Gramps, have been with us all this time (which has been great) and are leaving soon, but we'll have some help from Gum and Gup (Neil and Linda). Everybody's been great -- especially Wesley!
